Septic and Well location evaluation

The HRB has implementing a new
septic and well installation evaluation process to add a
level of verification that the improvements to a lot will
meet State, County, and community regulations, and to not
interfere with a neighboring lot that could cause conflicts
between neighbors. |

Septic Installation Guidelines v0108 |

New guidelines for septic installation in
effect January 1, 2008. These guidelines are also in
the Development Guidelines (chapter 8). The septic forms are in the
HRB forms (above). |

Approved Septic Systems
Installers |
 |
Crescent Communities maintains a standard for
septic systems that is higher than state or county standards
in method and equipment. Only approved installers are
permitted to install septic systems in 1780. Approved
installers are listed in the Development Team Candidate List |

This letter was received by the HRB from the Burke County
zoning office. It affects everyone that will be
applying for a Burke County Zoning Shoreline Protection
Permit for construction. The design requirements are
from Burke and will be enforced by Burke County. The
HRB is passing these on to you so that you will be better
informed of the requirements at the county level. |
